The Story
Turbosmart designed their TS-0553-1242 GenV HyperGate45 for CO2 drag racing or compressed air applications. It features control strategies that actively bias the top chamber with increased pressure for large boost bandwidth operation. The inverted diaphragm comes suitable for high-pressure CO2 as well as compressed air systems and large pressure differentials.
This cost-effective 45mm External Wastegate offers the highest flow of its kind! It provides extensive user configuration, world-leading extended thermal performance as well as fatigue resistance for optimum control and longevity. It also comes fitted with a 7 PSI spring, with base spring options from 3-26 PSI.
This direct fit upgrade to all Gen4 Turbosmart wastegates features a unique collar locking system, plus a rotatable actuator cap and base for easy, 360-degree optional routing of reference hoses. Strap-type Vband clamps, an optional liquid-cooling provision, 1/8″ NPT reference ports and fittings are also provided with the full range of available springs.
